Reba Powell. Reba died on February 13, 2022.
Her obituary: On Sunday, February 13, 2022, Alice 'Reba' Camp passed away at the age of 86. She was born on November 5, 1935 in Shakerag, Georgia to J.W. and Lily Powell.
Reba was lucky enough to have a twin sister, Rachel. Reba met Lee and they were married on July 18, 1959. Together they raised two children: Brad Camp and Alicia Gregory.
Reba worked at Peoples Financial for many years and eventually went to work for Cobb EMC until her retirement at 72.
Reba enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She traveled a little with friends after her retirement. She was always there whenever anyone needed her. Her five grandchildren were her reason for getting up and moving as she got older. They brought her so much joy and she would talk about them to anyone that would listen. She was beyond proud of each one of them. Reba was a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Marietta.
Reba is survived by her children Brad Camp and Alicia Gregory, her granddaughter, Amanda (Matthew) Tousant – granddaughter, Brian (Jessica) Suttles – grandson, Chip (Heather) Day -grandson, Levi (Hannah) Camp- grandson, Marie Camp – granddaughter, her great grandchildren, Dara Lynn (Patrick) McClure, Lacey and Raymond Tousant, great grandchild Suttles on the way, and her twin sister Rachel White and brother Lynman (Theresa) Powell.
Reba was preceded in death by her loving husband Lee and her parents.
