Her obituary: Sara Doxey, 54, medical secretary – Sara Louise Watson Doxey, 54, of Smyrna died Sunday. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eastwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Turner officiating. Burial will be at Dawson Cemetery. The body will be at the church at 1 p.m.
Mrs. Doxey had lived in Smyrna for six years. She was a medical secretary at Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Co.-Georgia. She was a Baptist and a member of Eastwood Baptist Church. She had formerly lived in Virginia Beach, Va. Survivors include her husband, Robert R. Doxey of Virginia Beach; one son, Charlie Chambers of Acworth; one daughter, Linda Brown of Marietta; on brother, Henry L. Watson Jr. of Palm Coast, Fla.; three grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Norman Medford Funeral Home in Marietta is in charge of arrangements.
