August 21, 1936 - May 07, 2011 – Dale Alton Tim Blalock, 74, of Marietta, died Saturday, May 7, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Tuesday afternoon in the Elizabeth Baptist Church with remains placed in state in the church at 1:00. Dr. Steve Echols and the Rev. Adrian Coetzer will officiate. A native of Hamilton, GA, Mr. Blalock lived in Marietta for most of his life. He served his country in the US Army and was retired from Ed Voyles Honda as a warranty administrator. He was a member of the Elizabeth Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Linda S. Blalock of Marietta; son, Gregory Kent Blalock of Marietta; sister, Lillian Segars of Woodstock; mother and father in law, Nora and Hank Harris of Marietta; several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 on Monday evening at Marietta Funeral Home 915 Piedmont Rd. Marietta, GA 30066 770/422-1234.
