Her obituary: Joyce Lee Cantrell, July 27, 1937 – February 15, 2023. Mrs. Joyce Lee Cantrell, age 85 of Cherry Log, passed away on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 at the Heritage Hospice and Palliative Care in Marietta. Mrs. Cantrell was born on July 27th, 1937 the daughter of the late William Oscar Holden and Bertha Elizabeth Patterson. Mrs. Cantrell worked as a custodian for the Cobb County Board of Education. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Brawley of Blue Ridge; son, Robert Eugene (Sonia) Cantrell of Morganton; sister, Patricia (Gene) Seabolt of Dahlonega; three grandchildren, Charles Ledford, Dennis Ledford, and Tonya Cantrell; and 12 great-grandchildren, Reily, Payton, Charleigh, Ireland, Tucker, Caitlin, Mahala, Brooke, Micah, Bobby, Memphis, and Harley and 2 great-great grandchildren also survives. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 20th at 12:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Sisson officiating. Interment will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church cemetery in Dallas, GA. Pallbearers serving will be Charles Ledford, Dennis Ledford, Edward Richie, Jason Seabolt, Nicky Anderson, Brent Setser, and Tony Baetz. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 19th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday, February 20th from 9:00 am until the service hour at the funeral home. Food and flowers will be accepted in memory of Mrs. Joyce Cantrell.
