Her obituary: Mrs. Marlene Seckel, 66, Altoona, Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003. Mrs. Seckel was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. She worked many years with the Senior Citizens of Altoona and Walnut Grove. Marlene was a devoted wife and loving mother. She is survived by her husband, Frank Seckel, mother, daughters, sister, brothers, lifelong friend of 51 years, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral was at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and was cremated Jan. 27, 2003, at Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory.
