His obituary: Mr. John Milton Cantrell – Mr. John Milton Cantrell, age 80, of Toccoa, GA passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018. Born February 22, 1938 in Bartow County, GA, he was the son of the late Charles Walter and Julia Maude Keel Cantrell. He was a member of the Pointe Church in Toccoa and was retired from the Cobb County School System. He was an Ambassador for the Jesus Film Project and the CRU International. John also served his Country with the Georgia Air National Guard. Family members include his wife, Joyce White Bramlett; son, Richard Scott Cantrell; daughter, Leigh Ann Cantrell; grandchildren, Bradley Brown, Brittney Cantrell, and Jesse Cantrell. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at three o'clock Sunday, September 2, 2018 at The Pointe Church with the Rev. Chad Smith and the Rev. Tim White officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the V. F. W. Post 4346. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jesus Film Project, 27631 La Paz Road, Suite A, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677. Whitlock Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
