His obituary: Jerry H. Gasaway – August 18, 1940 – March 22, 2020 – Jerry Herschel Gasaway, 79 of Locust Grove passed away on March 22, 2020. He was born in Marietta, Georgia to the late Walter (Jack) and Jonnie (Davis) Gasaway. Jerry was a graduate of Southern Tech with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a Veteran and served in the US Air Force. He retired after 48 years as a Senior Engineer from Lockheed-Martin. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Judith (Judi) Born Gasaway, his Daughter and Son in-law: Dee Anne and Gilmore Warwick of Marietta. Three Sons and Daughters in-law: David and Sandra Loftin of McDonough, Danny and Carla Loftin of Thompson Station, TN, Dennis and Monica Loftin of Monticello. Eight Grandchildren: Jacob (Kimberly) Loftin, Craig Loftin, Jessica DeLong, Johanna (Julio) Velasco, Casey Loftin, Anna Warwick, Jordan Loftin and Savannah Loftin. Seven Great Grandchildren, Two brothers: Rickey Gasaway of Cartersville, Kenny (Carolyn) Gasaway of Acworth, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
