His obituary: Roy M. Moon, 58, former Marietta resident – Roy Melvin Moon, 58, of Dallas, formerly of Marietta, died Tuesday, Aug. 18. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Church Cemetery in Dallas. A native of Marietta, Mr. Moon had lived in Dallas for 11 years. He was owner and operator of Melvin Moon Grading Company in conjunction with KM Enterprises. Survivors include two sons, Bill Moon and Keith Moon, both of Dallas; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
