His obituary: Raymond D. Moon, 63, lifelong Cobb resident. Raymond D. Moon, 63, of Marietta died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004. Services will be 11 am Thursday at First Baptist Church in Marietta, with the Rev. Dr. Greg DeLoach officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park cemetery in Marietta. A lifelong Cobb County resident, Mr. Moon retired as a developer and licensed contractor in residential and commercial properties. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Moon; two sons, Tony Moon of Douglasville and David Moon of Kennesaw; one daughter, Cynthia Moon of Marietta; two brothers, Cecil Moon of Marietta and Herbie Moon of Daytona Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Joyce Pulver of Marietta and Becky Shults of Atlanta; six grand-children; and nephews and nieces.
