Charles Hawkins, 71, of Marietta died Tuesday, April 22, 2014. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. John Ottley officiating. Mr. Hawkins graduated from Sprayberry High School and the University of Georgia. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He owned Hawkins Personnel Service in Marietta. Survivors include his wife, Jane Glover Hawkins of Marietta; one daughter, Ashley Hawkins of Decatur; one sone, Charles Bubba Hawkins II of Marietta; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home in Marietta.
