Mr. Don Ray Barnett, age 60, of Rockmart died Thusday, June 13, 2002. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Jerry McCurdy officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park. He worked for 30 years for the United States Postal Service retiring in 2002. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of St. Martin Methodist Church. Survivors include wife, Judith L. Barnett, Rockmart, GA, 2 sons, Tommy Ray Barnett, Atlanta, GA and Brent Ray Barnett, Lithonia, GA; daughter, Tracie Lynn Botts, Jonesboro, GA; 3 brothers, Dale C. Barnett, Douglasville, William Eugene Barnett, Leigh Acres, FL, and Michael Barnett, Orlando, FL; stepmother, Vivian Scoggins Barnett, Orlando, FL; 2 grandchildren, Jeffrey S. Blanton, Marietta and Bailey Ray Barnett, Lithonia. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. today at the Funeral Home.
