His obituary: Charles E. Gasaway, January 4, 1942 – October 17, 2018. With love, we remember the life of Charles E. Gasaway. Charles was a caring, loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He taught his family loyalty, honesty, dependability and instilled a strong work ethic in his children. Charles was committed to his business Gasaway Homes, Inc. and made decisions based on honor and integrity, always considering those who worked for him and the clients he served. He never sat idly by but jumped into the trenches to get work done. Charles took great pride in building beautiful homes in Atlanta, and his work was respected and admired in the community. He was a passionate trout fisherman who loved the outdoors. We will always remember his kindness and strength. Charles is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bobbie, his children Tracy and Neal, his daughter-in-law, Jocelyn, his granddaughters, Elly and Grace, and his three brothers Jerry, Ricky and Kenny.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at East Cobb United Methodist Church on Roswell Road at 1:00 in the afternoon. Please join us in the church reception hall after the service to celebrate Charles and his life.
