January 31, 1942 - December 15, 2024. Ms. Patricia Dianne Childress Stells, 82, of Ellijay, GA, passed away on December 15, 2024, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. Ms. Stells was born on January 31, 1942, in Marietta, GA to Roy Walter Childress and Pauline Byrd Childress. Patricia married her beloved Harold Leon Stells on December 11, 1959, and graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1960. A lover of art, Patricia loved to paint with different mediums. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Childress and Pauline Byrd Childress, her son, Mark Lane Stells, and her husband Harold Leon Stells. She is survived by her daughter Laurianna (Joe) Reece of Jasper, GA; her son William Billy (Deanna) Stells of Ellijay, GA, grandchildren Odin Drake and Lena Elon of Ellijay, GA; her brother Gary (Janet) Childress; two nieces, and their families. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm at Lakeside Funeral Home and a second visitation on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm also at Lakeside Funeral Home. A service will follow on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Lakeside Funeral Home with burial at Little River Methodist Church.
