Her obituary: Ashe – Patricia LaVonne Palmer Ashe, 60, of Acworth, died January 11, 2002. Funeral services 2 PM Monday, January 14, 2002, Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, Kennesaw Memorial Park. She was Baptist and had been a hairdresser most of her life. Mrs. Ashe lived in Acworth for the past two years. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Michael Grey, of Acworth, Jordan Nelson, of Valdosta, Sandy and Wayne Markman, of Stockbridge, Gayle Ashe, of Niota, TN, Thelma and Gary Givens, of Decatur, TN; sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Shannon Ashe, of Powder Springs, Ronnie and Dawn Ashe, of Kennesaw; her mother, Clara Palmer, of Kennesaw; a sister, Cheryl Mathis, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; brothers and sister-in-law, Mark Alan and Carol Palmer, and Mike Palmer, all of Marietta, GA; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
