Her obituary: Carolyn J. Partain, November 18, 1942 – March 25, 2012. Carolyn J. Partain, 69 of Smyrna died Sunday, March 25, 2012. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 27th at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Chapel in Marietta. Burial will follow at Mountain View Park Cemetery in Marietta. Carolyn retired after 33 years as a Cobb County school bus driver for Special Education children.
Survivors include her husband, W.A. Tony Partain of Smyrna; daughter & son-in-law, Donna & Tom Brashier of Vinings; son, Ronnie Partain of Smyrna; two sisters & brothers-in-law, Allene & Donald Abernathy of Marietta; Brenda & Randy Hunton of Newnan; one brother & sister-in-law, Larry & Teresa Wilmoth of Marietta; nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Cobb County, 148 Fairground St, S.E., Marietta, GA 30060, or to the American Cancer Society-Cobb County Unit, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd., Kennesaw, GA 30144.
