Edward Clackum. Edward died on February 25, 2006.
His obituary: Mr. Edward Speer Clackum, 62, of Hiram, Georgia passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006. Born on June 17, 1943 in Cobb County, he was the son of the late Deward and Mary Clackum. He was a retired supervisor with Arco Metals. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Clackum. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Velma Clackum; daughters and son-in-law, Missy Tidwell and Starli and Sean Spain, all of Dallas; brothers and sister-in-law, Gene Clackum of Acworth and Billy am (and) Beverly Clackum of Henderson, N.V.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Anderson and Rufus of Dahlonega and Margie and Gary Priest of Elijay; 5 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 2 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Darin Cochran officiating. The interment followed in Paulding Memorial Gardens with Sean Spain, Randy Tidwell, David Howard, Steve Brown, Derek Howard and Harry McGarvey serving as pallbearers. Clark Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
