His obituary: James L. Rucker, Marietta resident. James Lamar Rucker, of Marietta, died Sunday. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Mansell Road Chapel of Roswell Funeral Home, with the Rev. L.L. Kitchens officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Rucker was an Air Force veteran and a member of the NRA. He was employed by ADT Security Systems with 26 years service. Survivors include wife, Clara Rucker of Marietta; sons, Jimmy Rucker Jr. of Warner Robins and Terry Rucker of Marietta; mother, Dora Rucker of Smyrna; brother, Robert Rucker of Austell; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Roswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
