Her obituary: Lois Lee Powell, June 19, 1943 – December 24, 2013. Lois Lee Powell, age 70, a lifelong resident of Cobb County, died peacefully in her sleep on Christmas Eve. Lois graduated Sprayberry High School and retired from Lockheed. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Friends and relatives will remember her unconditional love of family. She took great pride in each and every accomplishment of those she loved. She will be missed greatly by so many. Lois is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Nina (Kalb) Lee. She is survived by her loving husband, Deuard Powell; daughters, Mechele Ayers (fiance Time Price) and Deneen (Husband Barry Jobe); grandchildren, Rebecca Jobe, Whitney Price, Savannah Jobe and Elijah Jobe; sisters, Sue Berry and Gayle Johnson; nieces and nephews.
