His obituary: Jerry Neal King, April 20, 1944 – September 11, 2022. Jerry Neal King of Canton, Georgia passed away on September 11, 2022. He was born April 20, 1944, in Marietta, Ga, the 5th child of B.B. & Essie King. Jerry was saved as a child in his family's church, Maple Avenue United Methodist Church. Jerry met his wife Gloria at this same church while participating in the youth program. They were married there, their children were born there, and both children were also married there. More recently, Jerry attended First Baptist Woodstock where he was a member of the Men's Circle, drove a trolley, and served as an usher. Jerry was a homebuilder in Cobb and Cherokee County for 49 years and in later years built custom homes. His hobbies included outdoor activities, camping, motorcycle riding, visits to the beach, golf, skiing, and hanging out with family and friends. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Gloria; daughter, Tiana Pauline and her husband Peter; son Kelvin, his wife Heather and their children, Ronan and Juniper; son, Levi and his wife Essie; son, Nathan. Son, Tod King and his wife, Lisa; son, Jeremy, his wife, Lindsay, and their children, Harper and Grayson; daughter Hannah, her husband T.C., and their children, Carter and Griffin.
