His obituary: Ralph Glenn McClure, Sr., August 17, 1943 – November 4, 2019. Mr. Ralph Glenn McClure Sr., age 76, of Rome passed away Monday November 4, 2019 in a local hospital. Mr. McClure was born August 17, 1943 in Alpharetta, Ga., a son of the late J.C. McClure and Roselle Roberts McClure. He was a member of the Church of the Living God where he was the Head Elder. He was retired from Lockheed–Martin after over 20 years of service, and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. McClure was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jean Whitfield. Survivors include his wife, Syble Kalb McClure, children, Glenn (Elise) McClure, Lorrie (Ricky) Smith, Sherry (Buster) Champion, Michael McClure, Ryan McClure, brothers, Jerry McClure, Steve McClure, Jim McClure, grandchildren, Victoria Smith, Kasey Smith, Kyle McCullough, Aaron McCullough, Nina Buchanan, Tyler Smith, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday November 6, 2019 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Champion, Rev. Rodney Westbrook, and Rev. Thomas Matthews, officiating.
