Her obituary: Theresa A Wells, October 19, 1944 – October 19, 2024. Theresa Wells passed away peacefully at home in Acworth, GA on her 80th birthday, October 19, 2024. Theresa was a Marietta native and has lived in Marietta and Acworth, Georgia all of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents – Troy and Virdus Adair, and her husbands – Pat Mines and Lennis Wells. Theresa leaves behind her sister, Doris Braswell, her brother and his wife – Joe and Debra Adair, her daughter – Robin Mines, her son and his wife – Shawn and Libby Mines and two grandchildren – Zack Mines and Dillon Mines. She also leaves many dear friends, cousins, nieces, nephews and grand–dogs. Theresa was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She had an exceptional work ethic and retired after a long career at Lockheed Martin in Marietta GA. Theresa made sure her family sat down for dinner together every night, had family dinner at Grandmas on Sunday and cherished family traditions. She made the best salmon patties in the world and a mean chocolate pie. As a talented gardener and homemaker, she took pride in her home and always opened it to family and loved ones for any occasion. She was strong, brave and always had your back. She loved music and dancing, was the life of the party, and was a good sport. Theresa will be dearly missed.
