Her obituary: Payne, Aundrea: Aundrea Payne, age 79, of Kennesaw, GA passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Canterfield Senior Living. She was the daughter of Lee Roy and Myrtle Long of Cartersville, Acworth, and Marietta. She was also one of the great granddaughters of Rev. A.W. Patterson. Rev. Wood Patterson was the moderator of the Jasper Baptist Association from 1916-1917. Aundrea is the widow of Col. Judge James Tillman Payne, Jr. of Athens, Acworth, and Marietta. Jim and Aundrea were both only children, yet were blessed with two daughters and one grandson. Funeral Services are scheduled for 12:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from Mary's Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Moss Fountain officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 1, 2024, and from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at South Canton Funeral Home.
