March 24, 1945 – August 2, 2024. Barbara Pritchett of Marietta, Georgia, who was born on March 24, 1945 in Burbank, California to Beatrice and Floyd Crum, transitioned to her heavenly home on August 2, 2024. Barbara leaned on the Holy Spirit for her comfort and direction. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend to thousands. She was an author, teacher, counselor, motivator, and minister. During her five operations in nineteen months, she had no pain, no fear, and had peace at all times. She was in the secret place with Jesus. Barbara will be missed by many, but we find comfort in knowing she is whole and healed in her heavenly body. We know that we will be with her again when God calls us home. Barbara is survived by her husband, two sons, two great-grandchildren adopted as kids, 7 grandchildren, another great-grandchild, two sisters, one brother, two daughters-in-law, and many more family members as well as thousands of friends around the world. Funeral service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Mount Paran North Church, 1700 Allgood Rd. Marietta, with Dr. Kirk Walters officiating. The family will greet friends at the church from 11 AM until1 PM before the service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Mount Paran North Church, Women's Aglow or Kairos Prison Ministry in memory of Barbara Pritchett. Carmichael Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
