His obituary: Harold E. Bettis, 49, Dallas resident. Harold E. Bettis, 49, of Dallas, died Thursday. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Norman Medford-Peden Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David LaGrand officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Park Cemetery. A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mr. Bettis was a carpenter in the construction industry. He was Baptist. Survivors include four daughters, Tammy Kangelos of Dallas, Michelle Bidinotto of Douglasville, Candy Bettis of Corbin, Ky., and Kym Beasley of Smyrna; one son, Harold E. Bettis, Jr. of Center, Ala.; mother, Lois Bettis of Marietta; four sisters, Rebecca Beasley of Smyrna, Elizabeth Buckner, Barbara Miller and Joyce Roberts, all of Marietta; on brother, Henry Bettis of Harrisburg, Penn; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
