His obituary: Mr. Vester E. Fletcher, 55. Woodstock resident Vester E. Fletcher, 55, of Woodstock, died Monday, Dec. 14. Private services will be today at Huey Funeral Home in Canton. Mr. Fletcher was employed with General Motors in Doraville for 32 years. He was a member of the Cherokee Shrine Club and the Hickory Flat Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Maybelle Fletcher of Canton; two sons, Vester James Fletcher of Holly Springs and Brian Fletcher of Woodstock; three daughters, Mary Ruth Fletcher and Diana Fletcher, both of Woodstock, and Vicky Bridges of Acworth; four sisters, Barbara Strickland and Jean McAbee, both of Marietta, and Susan Clinton and Brenda Vickers, both of Smyrna; and 11 grandchildren.
