His obituary: C.E. Stephens. Cecil Edmund (Eddie) Stephens, 19, of Route 1, Roberts Rd., Marietta, died Friday. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Greer's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Lathem officiating. Interment will be in Greer's Chapel cemetery. Mayes Ward Funeral Home is in charge. Stephens was a native and lifelong resident of Marietta and was a member of Greer's Chapel Baptist Church. He graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1964 and had been employed at Lockheed for the past year as a power truck operator. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Stephens, Marietta; sisters, Mrs. James Darnell and Mrs. Larry Bridges, Kennesaw; maternal grandfather, Joe E. Underwood, Kennesaw; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Stephens, Marietta; several aunts and uncles.
