Her obituary: Jeannie B. Byrd, Marietta, Georgia, June 24, 1946 – January 12, 2020. Jeannie Boggs Byrd passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12 at the age of 73 in Marietta, Georgia. Jeannie was born in Copperhill, Tennessee on June 24, 1946. She spent her life in both the Atlanta area and the north Georgia mountains. She was known for her sharp sense of humor, beauty, and generosity. Besides spending time with her grand-babies, she loved collecting unique treasures, especially those in leopard print, to fill her cabin or pass on to a friend. She leaves behind son, Jay (Ann) Byrd; daughter, Inga (John) Schorn; grandson, Mason Schorn; granddaughter, Isabelle Schorn; sister, Patrycia Boggs; and many cherished friends. Jeannie was predeceased by her husband, Dan Theodocian; father, Vernon Boggs; and brothers, Roger and Perry Boggs. A celebration of her life will be planned for the near future.
