Mr. William Leonard 'Snake' Woodham, age 64, of Douglasville, GA passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011. He was born December 11, 1946 in Marietta, GA. Mr. Woodham retired from the U.S. Post Office and enjoyed working at Ace Hardware; and was a member of Central Baptist Church. He loved his family, enjoyed helping others and was known for his great sense of humor. Mr. Woodham was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Woodham of Douglasville, GA; daughters, Shirley Morris (Albert) of Villa Rica, GA, Lynn Russell of Douglasville, GA, Julie Robbins (Ashley) of Douglasville, GA, and Lisa Powell (Scott) of Fayetteville, GA; son, Mark Haunson (Stacy) of Boca Raton, FL; mother, Polly Woodham of Blairsville, GA; grandchildren, Zac Wright, Chad Morris, Wade Noe, Drew Morrison, Aaron Morrison and Ashley Powell; sisters, Marsha Woodham of Blairsville, GA and Donna Kimmons (John) of Griffin, GA; brothers, John Woodham of Villa Rica, GA and Bill Coats (Michele) of Smyrna, GA; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marilynn and Jack Coats of Douglasville, GA; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, R. L. Woodham. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 14, 2011 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Reverend Steve McFall and Reverend Charles Gibbs officiating.
