Her obituary: Pamela Binger Martin, October 17, 1946 – September 18, 2025. With heavy hearts we share the passing of the heart of our family, Pamela Pam Martin, on September 18, 2025, at the age of 78 in Marietta, Georgia. Born on October 17, 1946 in Rockford, Illinois, Pam moved to Marietta, Georgia as a young girl. She graduated from Sprayberry High School and attended Georgia Tech University. Pam worked as a medical office manager for many years, retiring in 2000 with the birth of her first grandchild.
Pam was an avid reader and an exceptional cook. Her home was filled with warm hugs, delicious food and joyful laughter. Her favorite memories were made spending time with her husband and family. She shared a strong bond with her five grandchildren, delighting in each of their unique interests and accomplishments. Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Virginia Binger, her brother Rease Binger and her in-laws Herbert and Sally Martin.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Michael, her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Joe Mullin, her son and daughter-in-law, Brook and Angela Martin, and her five grandchildren, Luke, Michael, Ella, Jessica and Nathan. She also leaves behind two of her brothers, Gary and Frank Binger. Her funeral service will be held on Monday September 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Due West Methodist Church (3956 Due West Road NW, Marietta). Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service in the Church's Building A Gathering Room. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
