Her obituary: Head, Carolyn. Mrs. Carolyn Faye Head age 60 of Marietta died April 21, 2008. Funeral services will be held 4 pm at NorthStar Church in Kennesaw. Rev. Mike Linch & Rev. Robert Ledbetter. Burial at Kennesaw Memorial Park. She will be placed in state at 1 pm at the church. Born in Snellville, Mrs. Head worked for Coca Cola in Computer Services from 1984 till 2000. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1969 with honors and received a BS in Education. She was a Librarian in Athens. She was an active member NorthStar Church where she served in the outreach program and Red Hat Society. She volunteered with Wellstar Tranquility Hospice House in the Pet Therapy Program. She was the only child of Virgil and Mildred Head, Wanda Mosley Bennett and Ronnie Mosley who preceded her in death. Survivors: 2 aunts - Julia Head Pope of Decatur; Blondine Mosley of Snellville; Cousins - Jerry Brenttain of Charleston, SC; James B. Head of Ozark, AL; Alan J. Pope of Atlanta; Ann Pope Potter of Dawsonville; Gary W. Pope of Lilburn; Carla Leigh Pope of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Family will receive friends from 3 till 4 at NorthStar Church.
