Gil Black. Gil died on February 2, 2016.
His obituary: Charles Gilbert Black, Jr. of Melbourne Beach, FL died at Florida Hospital. He was the son of Charles, Sr and Frances Black born in Atlanta, GA. He grew up in Marietta, GA, graduated from Berry College in Rome, GA, served in the U.S. Coast Guard, and was owner of Sun on the Beach Café in Satellite Beach, FL. Preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Black, surviving are his wife of 47 years, Parthenia of Melbourne Beach; children, Seth Black of Melbourne Beach & Kent (Mandy) Black; granddaughter, Kennedy Black of Indialantic, FL; siblings, Stephen (Linda) Black of Melbourne, FL, Ralph (Jane) Black of Hendersonville, TN & Mary Faust of Anderson, IN. A Celebration of Life event will be held at a later date.
