Her obituary: Mrs. Cruikshank, Linda Jody Mobley Cruikshank, 38, of Lewisville, Texas, formerly of Marietta, died November 26. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McEachern United Methodist Church in Powder Springs. The Rev. Larry Summerour will officiate. Born in Alabama, Mrs. Cruikshank had lived in Marietta for 30 years prior to moving to Lewisville. She was a graduate of Sprayberry High School and an employee of Southern Bell for 19 years. She was a former member of Bethel Methodist Church in Marietta. Survivors include her husband, Don Cruikshank of Lewisville, Texas; parents Mr. and Mrs. H.V. Mobley of Powder Springs; two sisters, Faye Jones of Powder Springs and Laverne McCampbell of Dallas; four brothers, Billy C. Mobley of Rincon, Michael O. Mobley of Powder Springs, Billy C. Mobley and Howard Mobley, both of Atlanta; nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made to the Cobb County Unit of The American Cancer Society,732 Cherokee Street, Marietta, Ga. 30060. Mayes Ward Funeral Home of Marietta is in charge of arrangements.
