Her obituary: Nancie Sue Whitfield Dubard, 1947 – 2014. Nancie Sue Whitfield Dubard, 66, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, at her home. Nancie was born May 12, 1947 in Detroit, MI to Truman and Susie Lovett. She lived most of her life in Marietta, GA and moved to Lake Charles 5 years ago. She loved gardening and just being at home. Nancie had a love for genealogy and her grandson, Andrew always called her Two Momma . Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charley Dubard; one son, Jon and partner, Amy; one daughter, Ashlie; and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bill. Her funeral service will be at 10am Tuesday, May 6, at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Visitation is from 5-9pm Monday, May 5, and will resume Tuesday 9am 'til service time at the funeral home. Rev. Ronnie Estes will officiate. Burial will be in New Ritchie Cemetery.
