Chris Ferrell. Chris died on March 26, 1969.
His obituary: C.M. Ferrell – Christopher M. Ferrell, 20, 321 Pineland Drive, Mableton, died Wednesday while scuba diving in Ocala, Fla. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the White Columns Funeral Chapel in Mableton. Chaplain Billy Wolfe will officiate. ROTC students from Georgia Tech will serve as honorary escorts and pallbearers and will meet at Gene Davis Funeral Home Mableton, at 1:30. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery and joint graveside rites for Mr. Ferrell and Francis Marion Wilson III, will be at 3 p.m. Rev. Murdock McK. Calhoun and Chaplain Billy Wolfe will be in charge of graveside services.
Survivors include parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ferrell; sister Miss Susan Ferrell, Mableton; brother Thomas Ferrell, Clemson, S.C.; maternal grandmother, Mrs. W.D. Faulk, Anniston, Ala.; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
