His obituary: Charles C. Roper Chuck , December 29, 2010. Charles C. Roper Chuck , 63, of Kingston, GA died Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Batesville, GA. Mr. Roper was born in McDonough, GA and lived in Kingston, GA for the past 15 years. He retired from the Cobb Board of Education Maintenance Department. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church of Acworth, GA. Mr. Roper was a Mason and member of Kingston Lodge.
