Her obituary: Mrs. Linda Dianne Baxter Holcombe, 67, of Ellijay, died Monday, June 13, 2016, at her residence. She was born Sept. 26, 1948, in Marietta, to the late Charles Washington and Joyce Elizabeth Young Baxter. She was a graduate of Sprayberry High School, attended New Vision Pentecostal Church and owned and operated Faded Memories Antiques. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She is preceded in death by husband, Jonathan B. Holcombe III; and son-in-law, Jesse B. Massey. She is survived by daughter, CaSondra M. Massey, of Ellijay; son and daughter-in-law, Charles M. Chuck and Mechelle Lewis, of Ellijay; grandchildren, Joseph H. Massey, Charles M. Lewis Jr., Robert Honeycutt, Amanda Honeycutt and Laura Honeycutt, Zachary Hucaluk; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl M. and Ronald Lynch, of Dallas; and special niece and nephew, Elizabeth and Nolan Scroggins. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday June, 16, 2016, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Hal Doster and the Rev. Irene Wofford officiating. Music was by the Rev. Irene Wofford. Interment followed in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Pallbearers were Don Flowers, Charles Lewis Jr., Robert Honeycutt, Jody Dilbeck, Ronald Lynch and Shaun Hobson.
