His obituary: Conley – Mr. Allen Lee Conley, 56, of 140 Country Lane, Hartwell, GA, formerly of Marietta, GA, died Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at his home. Born January 30, 1948 in St. Mary's, Missouri, he is the son of Edna Blanford Conley of Marietta, GA and the late Oliver Conley. He was a Diesel Mechanic, Mack Truck Specialist. He was a member of the Hart County Connective Tissue Support Group, and a U.S. Army Veteran. His survivors include: wife, Debbie Gardner Conley of the home; son, James Conley of Harwell, GA; three daughters, Christy Dains of Anderson, SC, Tammy Wild of Greenville, SC and Wendy Conley of Hartwell, GA; two sisters, Judy Doss of Hiram, GA and Janet Tucker of Ellijay, GA, and two grandchildren, Matthew and Carrie Wild. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jim Winn will officiate. The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials may be made to Connective Tissue Support Group, c/o Mary Haulk, 3087 Press Mann Road, NE, Elberton, GA 30635.
