His obituary: Mr. Nicholson. George Anthony (Tony) Nicholson, 26, of 2552 Cotton St., Smyrna, died Sunday. Funeral services were to be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Elizabeth Baptist Church, Marietta, with the body placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Roscoe Davis was to officiate with burial in Mountain View Cemetery. Survivors include parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hascal Nicholson, Marietta; sister Mrs. Brenda Bristol, Powder Springs; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Nicholson, Hiawassee; Mr. and Mrs. Shuford Scroggs, Hayesville, N.C.; a niece, nephews, aunts and uncles. Norman Medford Funeral Home, Marietta, is in charge of arrangements.
