His obituary: Mr. Bowen. Bernard Lee Bowen, age 30, of Athens, formerly of Smyrna, died Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Castellaw's Concord Chapel with the Rev. J.F. Wooderson officiating. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Bowen; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Bowen, Jr., Slidell, La.; one sister, Mrs. Elaine Bowen Bedenbaugh, Riverdale; two brothers, Jeff Bowne, Athens, Michael Bowen, Smyrna; grandmother Ruth Bedenbaugh, Hiram; several aunts and uncles. Mr. Bowen was a sales representative fo5 Scott Paper Co.
