His obituary: Rolan Mayes – Mr. Rolan Cecil Mayes, 53, of 306 McPherson Drive, Canton, passed away Saturday, March 30 at Northside Hospital in Cherokee County. Memorial services were held on Sunday, March 31 at 3 p.m. from the chapel of the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Shelton officiating. The Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville, was in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Rolan Cecil Mayes.
