His obituary: Thomas Mike Graham, November 2, 1949 – July 26, 2023. Mike Graham, 73 of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones Wednesday, July 26th, 2023.
Mike was born in Andrews, North Carolina, but grew up in Marietta, Georgia. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to play baseball and football at Sprayberry High School. Mike also played softball for fun well into his forties with golf becoming another passion. In 1996 he reunited with friends at a Sprayberry High School Football Reunion that turned into a 27-year long tradition of Wednesday night poker (that ultimately turned into Wednesday day poker as they grew older). He put his passion of creating and building as a contractor into his career until retirement in 2020. Mike is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lynne Graham, and his children and spouses Brett and Betsy Graham, Katie and Jared Main, and Matt and Laura Graham, granddaughters Molly and Mattie Graham and not yet earthside, grandson Theodore Graham due September 2023, and brother Patrick and wife Patricia. He is predeceased by his parents Lake and Ruth Graham, his sister Nada Pullium, and brother Jeff Graham. In lieu of flowers we are requesting donations to be made to MUST Ministries or the charity of your choice. A celebration of his life will be held on July 29th, 2023, 11am at Marietta Funeral Home. We ask for everyone to dress comfortably in colorful attire – this will be a celebration of life and casual is encouraged.
