His obituary: Michael Ross, 41, Powder Springs resident. Micheal L. Ross, 41, of Powder Springs died Saturday. Services will be noon Tuesday at Noonday Baptist Church with the Rev. Clinton Edwardss officiating. The remains will lie in state at 11 a.m. Tuesday, and burial will be at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mattie L. Ross of Powder Springs; a son, Michael Shannon Ross of Powder Springs; parents, Robert and Cora Ross of Marietta; a brother, Robert Ross Jr.; three sisters, Evelyn Busby, Beverly Sykes and Renita Brock; grandmother, Mary Swanson; aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
