Her obituary: Mrs. Jordan. Rebecca Jo Blaylock Jordan, 29, of 2585 Grant Circle, Kennesaw, died Wednesday. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday from Maple Avenue United Methodist Church in Marietta with the Rev. Jim McGraw officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., Mrs. Jordan had lived in Marietta for the past 16 years. She was a graduate of Sprayberry High School, where she was a Jackette, a member of the Pep Club and was editor of the school annual. She attended Kennesaw College. Survivors are husband, Alton D. Jordan Jr. of Kennesaw; one daughter, Mary Jordan; one son, Matthew Jordan, both of Kennesaw; parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Allen Blaylock Jr. of Marietta; two sisters, Mrs. Steve (Barbara) Zimmerman, Charlotte Blaylock, both of Marietta; grandmother, Nora Gattis of Crossville, Tenn. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Cobb County Unit of the American Cancer Society, 1384 Wylie Drive, Marietta, 30067. Mayes Ward Funeral Home in Marietta is in charge of arrangements.
