Her obituary: Whitman, Jana. Mrs. Jana Sue Anders Whitman age 57 of Kennesaw died Sunday, December 21, 2008 in an area hospital. Mrs. Whitman was a long time resident of Cobb County. She was a graduate of Sprayberry High School and ABAC, in Tifton, GA and was preceded in death by her mother and father, Gale and Anchor Jackson Anders. Survivors include her husband George Whitman 3rd, two sons, Doug Parson of Cumming, GA; Greg Whitman of Kennesaw, Brother Mike Anders, Sister, Lynette Strickland, both of Marietta. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 am from Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Chapel. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to C3 Colorectal Cancer Coalition, 1414 Prince Street, Suite 204, Alexandria, VA. 22314.
