His obituary: Ronnie Lamar Childers. Ronnie Lamar Childers of Roswell, passed away after an extended illness on November 29, 2012. He was born on October 25th, 1951 in Chamblee, and he graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1969. In the mid 1970's he established a successful hauling and grading business which he operated until his death. He was a dedicated member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. Ronnie touched so many lives and had countless friends, you always wanted to be around him. His greatest hobby was to impersonate the legendary Elvis Presley and hosted numerous Elvis Presley theme concerts and parties on his property. He is survived by his loving wife, Tea Childers, Roswell; sisters, Melonee Bates, Cumming, Petrelia Ann Lawhorn, Roswell; father, JW Red Childers, Roswell; and niece Joy Thompson, Ball Ground. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Ronnie Childers requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
