His obituary: James Ronnie Hamby, January 22, 1951 – October 16, 2020. ames (Ronnie) Hamby, age 69, of Marietta, Georgia passed away October 16, 2020. Ronnie was a graduate of Sprayberry High School and a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Ronnie is preceded in death by his loving wife, Cydnee J. Hamby and brother, Marvin. L. Hamby. He is survived by sons, Randy Hamby (Rebecca) and Joshua Scoggins (Polly) and daughter Cydnee Stanfield (Mike). sisters, Linda Clute (David), Cynthia Eubanks (Johnny), Diane Cook (Cookie), Sandra Mildner (Russell) and Brenda Carlisle. He is also survived by grandchildren, Brittany, Michael, Kalonee, Rader, Angel, Logan, Lexi, Lina, and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, October 23, 2020 from 3 until 9 pm at Woodstock Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the chapel at Woodstock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sandy Plains Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia.
