Her obituary: Mrs. Sherri G. Ward, October 5, 1951 – November 9, 2025. Sherri Gwinnett (Mullinix) Ward of Dallas, Ga passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025 at the age of 74. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, wife and friend for 53 years. She leaves behind her husband John (Al) Ward, Larry Ward (son), Flint Ward (son) and Kim Vallee James Ward (daughter-in-law), and 5 grandchildren Nolan Nichols, Ailyn Ward, Zachary Ward, Reagan Ward and Layton Ward. Sherri was born on October 5, 1951 in Woodstock, Ga. She attended Woodstock Elementary and graduated from Sprayberry High school. Sherri was a World Champion AQHA showman ship rider as well as many other titles with the Cherokee Saddle Club. Horses were her passion; she trained and taught riding lessons. For many years, we spent most of our time at the stables as kids. Forgive Flint and I for leaving doors open as we really were raised in a barn! She has resided in Dallas, GA for the last 25 years. Visitation will be held at Benson Funeral Home in Dallas, GA on November 15, 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm. Followed by a memorial service in honor of our sweet Mother. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Dementia Society of America as our Father continues to battle Dementia. Benson Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sherri G. Ward.
