Her obituary: Joyce Elaine (Brackett) Lingerfelt, a long-time resident of Kennesaw, GA died the 15th of February in her home. Born in 1951 in Thomaston, GA, she was the daughter of Roy F. and Joyce M. Brackett. She graduated Sprayberry High School in 1970. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dean Thomas Lingerfelt, two daughters, Amanda L. Karchner and Sandra J. Long, one son, Thomas A. Lingerfelt, one brother, Roy Marlin Brackett, two nieces, one nephew, five grandchildren, and one very special dog, Mickey. Medford-Peden Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements, held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017.
