His obituary: Floyd Redding Jr., 40. Kennesaw resident. Floyd Redding, Jr., 40, of Kennesaw, died Sunday. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Sardis Baptist Church in Kennesaw, with the Revs. Thomas James and Ellis Bostic officiating. Burial will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. His remains will be taken to the church at noon.
Survivors include his wife, Priscilla E. Redding; two sons, Floyd Jeramiah Redding and Justin Lamar Redding; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Redding Sr.; one sister, Patricia Ramsey; three brothers, Clarence Redding, Eric Redding and Kenneth Redding, all of Marietta. Hanley-Shelton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
