Gerald Edward Queen of Smyrna died Friday. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta with the Rev. Phil Owens officiating. Burial will be at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, Marietta. Mr. Queen was born in Marietta and attended Marietta and Cobb County Schools. He graduated from Sprayberry High School. He was Baptist and was employed with the Social Security Administration as a data transcriber. Survivors include his parents, Jack and Frances Grace Queen of Woodstock; one sister, Gwendolyn Queen Stolley of Acworth; tow nieces and one great-niece. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
